Join the 澳门葡京游戏app CCI virtual after school club

澳门葡京游戏app Creative Computing Institute (CCI) is collaborating with artists, technologists and current students to provide an online after school club. Expect 3D design, creative coding, machine learning, artist talks and more. All sessions are aimed at young people, families and beginners. Sign up and join online for the weekly free sessions.

Using Code Blocks for 3D Design

Tuesday 7 July, 4-5pm

This session will be delivered by Creative Technologist and 澳门葡京游戏app alumna Jazmin Morris, introducing participants to using code blocks to create fun, 3D designs. Attendees will be guided through an interactive, follow-along tutorial using open-source software to get creative.

Get Started with Audio-visual Content

Tuesday 14 July, 4-5pm

Youngjun Chang, a theatre designer and creative will introduce how to build basic audio-visual content and simple communication in TouchDesigner. This session uncovers how simple pixels and signals found in images and music can be transformed into interactive media performance.

Basic Maths for Creative Computing

Tuesday 21 July, 4-5pm

Current MSc student at the CCI, Josh Murr, will be leading a session on how to use simple mathematical tools which become the building blocks for complex shapes, patterns and animations in vanilla JavaScript.

How To Draw Using Python Programming

Tuesday 28 July, 4-5pm

Creative technologist & BA Graphics Camberwell alumni Maria Than will show participants how to draw shapes using Python programming. Participants will be invited to follow-along as Maria breaks down the basics of Python using the Turtle module.
